-Delightful BnB near Niagara Falls-

Throwback to the memorable 2009 weekend.

We stayed in Hillcrest Inn for 2 days during the Memorial Day Weekend (2009), it was such a wonderful experience. We got a warm welcome from Cassidy who showed us around the beautiful house.

There are about 4 rooms in the BnB. The room in which we stayed was called 'English Room'.

The room was very cosy and clean with a fresh smell from the flowers which were laid on the table along with chocolates, fruits and water.

The bathroom was small but very clean. The hosts not only added the regular toiletries but went a step ahead and added few extra things which we all tend to forget (eg, earbuds).

This place is just 5-10 mins walk to the American falls, Goat Island and Cave of the winds. There are lot of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Incase you don't know where to go, Cassidy is always there to help. This place is so conveniently located that we went to the falls in the morning, came back for a small nap in the afternoon and went out again in the evening to see the illuminations. It was a perfect, relaxed weekend.

Coffee and newspaper are set out very early in the morning in a beautiful room from where you get the view of the river. For breakfast we were served pancakes, bagels, fresh fruits with yogurt, cereals.

On the last day, we had to leave early at around 6:30 am. Cassidy served us coffee and cereals and also packed yummy muffins for our journey. She and her husband made sure that our stay was comfortable and memorable.
