-Canadian Rockies: What we ate-

Dining Experience in Alberta
WHAT WE ATE
Note: We are vegetarians
1. Banff: Nourish Bistro
A fully vegetarian restaurant in Banff. I loved the ambiance of this place and the casual, relaxed vibe it gave us. This restaurant has good from all over the world on its menu. One item of Chinese, Thai, Italian, etc. We chose Thai curry with rice and Ravioli. Both were very good though I would have loved a little more spice.

2. Lake Louise: Mountain Restaurant
This was basically a gas stop and lunch combined. We stopped at the Husky Gas Station to fill up gas and ended up having lunch here. Had a heavy (hmm fries and cheese) meal of Veg poutine, falafel and linguine pasta in tomato sauce.

3. Emerald Lake: Cilantro on the lake

If you want to dine with an amazing view of the Emerald Lake and the surrounding mountains, choose the 'Cilantro on the Lake' restaurant at the Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park. The menu is simple with few items. For vegetarians, they have soup, couple of salads, veg pizza and tagliatelle pasta. Taste is alright but you are definitely paying for the view.
Tip: The lake and the surrounding areas have flies and bugs. Be aware of this if you choose to dine outside.
